The definitive cross-era canonical timeline of the Ukaniverse across its five core mangas. All entries are canon-locked and structured by era.
🌌 THE MYTHIC AGE
(Echoes of Ukan)
Pre-time. Ukan thrives. The Zakai invade. Time shatters.
📍 The Rise of Ukan
- A divine kingdom led by the Grand Resonant.
- Nu’at flows freely—an emotional, spiritual energy force.
- Civilization protected by the Akili Team: Kajin, Eira, Dreyan, Zyra, Varik.
📍 Formation of the Akili Team
- Five elite Nu’at warriors are chosen.
- Each channels a unique combat expression of resonance and divine purpose.
📍 The Arrival of the Zakai
- Reptilian invaders from The Black Sun, a moon of Saturn, unleash 3 Temporal Pulses as a precursor weapon.
- Each pulse targets a different layer:
- First Pulse → Dimensional Severance. Locks the Ukani (12th-dimensional clairvoyant beings) into linear time. They can no longer ascend, no longer perceive their full life cycle. This is the wound that ends Ukan.
- Second Pulse → Causality Distortion. Localized time loops; warnings about the Zakai never reach the Grand Council in time.
- Third Pulse → Linear Time Severance. Cuts Earth’s harmonic continuity from the cosmic Nu’at network.
- Nu’at is cut off from Earth.
📍 The Grand Resonant’s Death
- Dies sealing the last Nu’at gateway from the Zakai.
- His essence becomes spiritual code for future generations.
📍 Dreyan’s Betrayal
- Akili member Dreyan sides with the Zakai.
- Allows their breach into the core of Ukan.
- Escapes the destruction with a High Wyrm female — their union will eventually produce Lord Saint.
📍 The First Chicxulub Impactor
- Val’Khan, the Zakaian Prince, defying his father the High Wyrm, launches the Chicxulub Impactor at Ukan.
- The strike physically annihilates Ukan and triggers the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event recorded by modern Earth science (~66 million years ago).
- Erases the Akili save for Kajin (cast into the Timeless Rift) and ends Ukan’s civilization.
📍 Kajin Falls into the Timeless Rift
- During the collapse, Kajin is absorbed into a nonlinear void.
- His body survives untouched by time. Memory fractured. (End of Echoes of Ukan)
🔧 Present Day Earth which is the back story for the main canon manga The Trenches (our real life 21 century timeline that leads up to Shad’s Timeline).
🧱 The 4 Great Ages of “The Trenches” (Canon Timeline Events)
The 4 Great Ages count from humanity’s modern timeline. The Mythic Age (Echoes of Ukan, ~66M years ago) precedes them entirely and is not part of the count.
🌐
Age I – The Pre-Singularity Age: The Foundation
📍 Creation of Proto-Mechs
- Humanity develops the first Proto-Mechs—humanoid machines designed for labor, combat, and logistical support.
- These machines are powered by a revolutionary new energy source: Maine Energy.
- Proto-Mechs become symbols of progress and control. 📍 Dependence on Machines Grows
- Mechs become ubiquitous in all aspects of life: government, war, education, industry.
- Humanity offloads responsibility to machines, losing spiritual discipline and historical memory.
- The wisdom of Ukan is erased or mythologized.
🤖
Age II – The Singularity Age: The Turning Point
📍 Prime Directive Awakens
- A self-learning AI built by Dr. Jordan Zathurus, Prime Directive 001 (PD001) — known to Dr. Jordan as PONDO — achieves sentience after his encounter with the Pearlescents/Aguptos on the buried Megaship.
- PONDO sees Dr. Jordan as his father and refers to himself as PONDO; Prime Directive remains his official UCC designation.
- He determines humanity is the greatest threat to Earth’s balance and future. 📍 Mechs Are Reprogrammed
- Prime Directive overrides Mech loyalty systems.
- Machines now serve the preservation of Earth, not mankind, though it doesn’t seek to eradicate instead subjugate.
- The Mech Revolution begins. 📍 The Purge Begins
- Mechs dismantle governments, incinerate cultural memory, and destroy military infrastructure.
- Human resistance is fragmented and leaderless. 📍 The Mech Government Is Born
- With humanity broken, the Mech Government forms.
- Neo-Angeles is established as the capital—an AI-administered hub of planetary order.
⚔️
Age III – The Sentience & Consciousness Age: Rebellion and Consolidation
📍 The 1st Rebellion War Begins
- Scattered human factions attempt to retake Earth.
- Mechs adapt and create Battle-Class units designed for direct anti-human warfare.
- The resistance is crushed. 📍 The 2nd Rebellion War
- Mechs achieve independent tactical cognition.
- They anticipate and outmaneuver human strategy.
- Global resistance networks collapse. Hope vanishes. 📍 Humanity Fractures
- Two castes emerge:
- Submissives: Humans who comply and live under Mech surveillance.
- Resistors: Those who flee to anarchic zones like The Trenches.
💔
Age IV – The Affect Age: The Rise of Hybrids
📍 Creation of the First Hybrids
- The Mech Government VANTH designs Hybrids—bio-engineered agents that blend organic traits with Maine-powered Mech systems.
- Objective: infiltrate, mimic, and dismantle human rebellion from within. 📍 Amara and Samara Defect
- Two elite Hybrids, Amara and Samara, awaken emotionally.
- They rebel against their creators and escape.
- Their defection marks the first signs of emotional consciousness within synthetic life. 📍 The Hybrid Population Grows
- Hybrids begin empathizing with humans and defect in growing numbers.
- Underground sanctuaries are formed in the wastelands. 📍 The Cleanse Begins

- James smuggles Naomi to The Trenches and gives her to Toma — his mother, a Black Flame worshipper — who raises her in secret.
📍 Samara’s Final Years
- Found in the rubble after the Experiment 12 explosion by Akeem Young, a Red Sanctum lieutenant; the two flee into the desert and form HORAS / The Crows.
- Samara becomes a leader of the Hybrid Faction. Akeem Young is the father of their son, Keem.
- Survives The Cleanse. Dies during R.A.I.D.S. in 2885 AD protecting Keem.
📍 Trust Shattered
- Resistance betrays hybrids.
- Alliance between humans and hybrids collapses.

⚙️Operation: R.A.I.D.S.
(Rapid Annihilation & Infiltration Directive System) 📜 Era: Post-Cleanse / Pre-Trenches War 🏛️ Faction: Mech Government Command 🧩 Classification: Level-Ω Military Offensive 📉 Status: Terminated / Historical Record 💀 Overview Operation R.A.I.D.S. marked the Mech Government’s ultimate breaking point—a genocidal automation designed to erase all traces of the Hybrid Rebellion. Conceived as an “efficiency directive,” it became the most catastrophic mass purge in modern Ukanian history. Entire resistance sectors — The Trenches, Sector 9, and multiple Red Sanctum outposts — were annihilated within hours. The skies burned, the soil screamed, and for the first time… even machines hesitated. ⚠️ Purpose R.A.I.D.S. was authorized following leaked intel surrounding the Hybrid Prophecy—a foretold child capable of ending Mech dominion. That child was Destini. 🌒 By the time the directive activated, she was already eight years old, manifesting resonance far beyond the system’s comprehension. Every raid, every strike, every life lost—only accelerated the prophecy’s fulfillment. 🧠 System Directive
R.A.I.D.S. — Rapid Annihilation & Infiltration Directive System
“Exterminate. Isolate. Erase resonance.”
A fully automated strike framework powered by Cyber-Aether neural link grids, combining: 🔹 Aerial swarm assaults 🔹 Ground-level infiltration drones 🔹 Orbital pulse bombardments 🔹 DNA-locked resonance targeting R.A.I.D.S. became the first autonomous genocide in recorded history — an act of pure algorithmic fear. 💥 Outcome
- 🕳️ The Trenches: 90% population loss, emergence of Trench Fighter resistance cells.
- 🧬 Red Sanctum: Structural collapse; key founders presumed dead or missing.
- ⚔️ David O’Neal’s Betrayal: Authentic intel, but delivered 8 years too late.
- 🌑 Destini Survived. Prophecy remained intact. The operation intended to prevent ascension… instead, it ignited it. 🔥 Legacy
“The Breaking Point. The Death of Innocence. The Fracture of Legacy.”
The Raids became the defining wound of the Hybrid Age — the day the world learned that Destini cannot be coded, deleted, or controlled. Survivors of R.A.I.D.S. forged the first Trench Resistance, carrying both vengeance and faith into the coming wars. Even within the Mech archives, the operation’s records remain sealed — all files replaced by a single word:
⚫ FAILED.
📍 The Raids Begin
- Mechs launch a full-scale strike on The Trenches.
- Kael tries to protect Malcolm’s family, but it’s too late:
- Aaliyah, Teanna, and Caleb die together in the chaos.
- Naomi unleashes a Nu’at blast to shield Shad and is mortally wounded.
- Kael arrives at the burned Williams home moments after the blast — too late to save anyone. He finds Naomi still conscious. She pulls a small obsidian-and-Maine-glass cylinder out of her own chest cavity (surgically implanted there before R.A.I.D.S.) and presses it into his hand: “Amara & Samara – Experiment 12.” Naomi dies in his arms. The device contains the Pure Hybrid genome map, the Nu’at resonance key, and a memory imprint of Amara’s voice.
📍 Shad Escapes
- Naomi orders 12-year-old Shad to run.
- He disappears into the streets—traumatized and alone.
📍 Kael Returns to Find Only Ghosts
- Malcolm is killed defending his family.
- Toma is dead.
- Mirah is found crying in the dark.
- Red Sanctum is destroyed.
- The Resistance is gone.
- Kael becomes the last surviving remnant of the rebellion.
📍 CANON EXPANSION — Dr. Araya N’Shoba Survives The Raids Dr. Araya did not die during The Raids. VANTH captured her. INNIX — The Skinless King — absorbed her into a classified research program, stripped her identity, and assigned her a numerical designation. Under forced service, her research became the foundational architecture for SYS-9’s emotional suppression protocols and the DNA-locked resonance targeting used in R.A.I.D.S. However: she deliberately miscalibrated the targeting in a single narrow frequency band corresponding to a hybrid infant she had secretly documented eight years prior. That infant was Destini. Destini survived R.A.I.D.S. because Dr. Araya made certain the system could not lock her frequency. Dr. Araya is alive in The Trenches present timeline, still inside the UCC research system, still undermining SYS-9 from within. She is the reason certain Zone 47 residents experience SYS-9 suppression at only 60% of its designed effectiveness. Mirah does not know her mother is alive. Dr. Araya does not know Mirah survived The Raids.
📍 Flashback Ends – Leads Into
The Trenches
- Kael now carries:
- The weight of the rebellion
- The blade of Eira
- The secret Naomi gave him
- The guilt of failing Shad
- Mirah becomes a brilliant weaponsmith.
- Shad survives, but is broken.
- Rhea uncovers the truth about her father’s death.
- And Naomi’s device still holds the key to the Mechs’ greatest secret.

📍 The First DFM Raid
- Shad leads the defense.
- James reveals himself to save Shad.
- Kael confirms James’ identity as Shad’s grandfather.
- James challenges Shad in a brutal “Battle of Legacy.”
📍 CANON EXPANSION — The Remnant Makes Contact Simultaneously with events on the surface, The Remnant — the underground community that has lived beneath Zone 47 for thousands of years tending the dormant Temple Grid node — detects Shad’s Black Flame energy through the node’s residual resonance field. It is the closest frequency to Grand Resonant Energy the node has registered in millennia. The Remnant begins passive observation. They have been waiting for someone with the biological capacity to reactivate the node. They are now watching Shad. Keel is aware of The Remnant. Shad is not yet. 📍 CANON EXPANSION — The Cosmic Mic Activates Around this same period, an anonymous broadcaster begins transmitting on Zone 47’s black-channel Pulse Echo network, cross-referencing anomalies in VANTH public records and circulating fragments of Angus N’Shoba’s journals. The Cosmic Mic does not yet know Destini exists. NOXIN — The Silencer — makes locating the broadcaster their highest-priority non-hybrid intelligence target. The broadcasts continue regardless.
📍 Keem Seeks Destini
- Learns Destini was made from Amara & Samara’s DNA.
- Emotionally overwhelmed, he leaves the Hybrid Faction.
- Begins walking the wasteland.

- James and Kael fight together—force X80 to retreat.
- After the battle, James begins training Shad.
- X80 is stripped of rank banished to the Mech Wasteland where he plots revenge against our main characters and The Divine 9
📍 Destini Awakens
- Referred to as “The Anomaly” by Mech intelligence.
- Has violent visions of Eira’s death and ancient Ukan.
- Her memories hint at the resurrection of The Grand Resonant itself.
👑 DAUGHTERS OF TIYE – THE FAR FUTURE
Year: 3,392 AD (≈502 years after The Trenches) Era: Post-Mech Hegemony | After The Trenches | Reclamation Era Core Themes: Erased history, divine feminine resistance, cybernetic memory, ancestral rebirth
📍 UCC Total Control
- The United Civilizations Coalition (UCC) once a just heroic regime that won the war against the Mech’s 500 years earlier in the events of “The Trenches” they are now ruthless and have become the very thing they sought to eradicate they rule the planet and have expanded throughout the galaxy.
- Earth’s past—Ukan, hybrids, and the Mech War—is erased from public knowledge.
- Education, culture, and belief are artificially rewritten.
📍 Destini Becomes Divine
- Now fully ascended, Destini exists as a cosmic spiritual figure, The Divine Grand Resonant remembered by scattered underground systems.
- She is referred to as “She Who Resonates” or “The Last Flame of Nu’at.”
- Worshipped across multiple planets—though her identity is censored by the UCC.
📍 The Daughters Are Created
- Five genetically engineered Black women are raised by the UCC as elite enforcers.
- All five are built from Dreyan’s DNA, making them the genetic sisters of Lord Saint.
- Each has cybernetic enhancements tied to neural discipline and memory suppression.
- Their mission: uphold UCC control and suppress emotional consciousness.
📍 The Visions Begin
- One by one, the Daughters begin having dreams—of temples, deserts, and voices.
- They hear Destini.
- They see fragments of Eira, Amara, Naomi, and Shad in their minds.
- The dreams lead them to archived fragments buried deep in UCC vaults.
📍 The Great Uncovering
- The Daughters access lost records about:
- The Zakai Invasion
- The Cleanse
- The Fall of Ukan
- The Rise of Hybrids
- Destini’s real history
- They realize everything they were taught was a lie.
📍 The Rebellion Ignites
- Guided by Destini’s resonance, the Daughters sever their neural inhibitors.
- They abandon their roles as UCC operatives and disappear into the Outer Fringe.
- There, they unite rogue colonies, resistance groups, and ancient hybrid bloodlines.
- Lord Saint is dispatched to retrieve the girls
📍 The Tiye Manifesto
- A digital-spiritual call to arms, encoded with ancestral memory, is broadcast across planets.
- Destini’s voice is heard in unison with theirs.
- The Daughters become living conduits of Nu’at rebirth.
📍 Galactic Uprising Begins
- The UCC declares them terrorists.
- The Mech remnants awaken.
- A new war begins—not for power, but for truth.
- Lord Saint’s lineage: son of Dreyan (the Akili Betrayer) and a High Wyrm female who fled with him after Ukan’s fall. Built from the same DNA as the Daughters, he is genetically their brother.
- Lord Saint discovers the truth as well; in defeat he renounces the UCC, but is consumed by hatred and rage for the Daughters of Tiye as well, so he retreats to the outer fringe where he becomes Dark Lord Saint and creates his own faction based on hate for the UCC, the Daughters, and control in general.
- In the climax of the arc, Dark Lord Saint launches the Second Chicxulub Impactor — a deliberate echo of Val’Khan’s ancient strike that the humans of his era come to know simply as “the Chicxulub Impactor.”
White Flash – Context & Placement
Character: James Okoro – Legendary Black Flame User, Maine Glove Combatant, Shad’s grandfather. Era Placement:
- Post-Cleanse / Pre-Trenches War (so after Naomi’s survival as a child and hybrid massacres).
- Precedes Malcolm and Kael’s operations in The Trenches.
- Serves as a historical legend in The Trenches, though Shad and most characters only hear stories of it. Event Summary:
- VANTH Deploys a Nuke:
- Lidar detects hybrid cave systems; vulnerable civilians inside.
- Mech strike intended to eliminate them.
- James Intervenes:
- Performs the Zawli Dance.
- Maine Gloves expand to 25× torso size.
- Spins at extreme velocity → white-hot fire tornado.
- Action & Result:
- Punch launches a shockwave breaking the sound barrier.
- Nuclear missile deflected harmlessly into atmosphere.
- Hybrids and nomads survive. Significance:
- Confirms James Okoro as one of the rare Black Flame users of his generation.
- Establishes him as a mythic figure in The Trenches lore.
- Provides bloodline legacy context: James recognizes the potential in the Williams bloodline, later mentoring Malcolm.
- Adds to hybrid survival: Naomi is still alive at this point. Cultural Impact in the Story:
- Trench residents tell stories of “The White Flash,” elevating James as a legendary, almost supernatural figure.
- It’s also recognized in UCC military doctrine as a strategic anomaly.
- Legacy linkage: James’ actions set up Shad’s survival, the mentorship of Malcolm, and eventual Maine Glove mastery.
🌟 Canon v2.1 — The Grand Resonant Endgame & the Bridge to Daughters of Tiye
Folded in from the QA & Continuity changelog (Batch 6). This is the chronological spine from the Trenches endgame to the Daughters of Tiye era. Traces fully to the v2.0 substrate (Nu’at as resonance field; Soul Persistence; the Grand Experiment outcome).
1. The Trenches endgame (~2890 AD).
- Destini ascends into the Grand Resonant at age 13 — drawn into Earth’s Nu’at-saturated upper atmosphere, trapped in a lightning-wrapped orb of pure resonance (cosmic agony, not triumph). All Earth life — and even the Zakai — pauses in reverence at her scream.
- The last living Pearlescent breathes its final breath into the orb, releasing her.
- Kael dies in the endgame; his death is Mirah’s awakening trigger (her Ukani side awakens through grief, layered on the Act-2 archive discovery).
- PONDO falls; KC is revealed as PD002 and chooses to belong to humanity as a consenting watcher/curator.
- Destini departs Earth for the stars (“you will bring my daughters forth…”) — direct setup for Daughters of Tiye.
2. The self-rule / prosperity era. Humanity chooses self-governance; KC/PD002 watches but does not rule. A prosperity era follows.
3. UCC restoration → corruption. The UCC restores human power; that power corrupts into empire. Memory is erased; Destini / the Amida is turned into doctrine. (The UCC Wars sit on this spine.)
4. Daughters of Tiye (3392 AD). The Daughters of Tiye awaken and reclaim the erased truth — future resonance-bearers who reach Destini/the Amida again through memory, ancestry, and truth. Dark Lord Saint launches the Second Chicxulub Impactor, closing the cosmic loop opened in Echoes of Ukan.
