Mirah is the blood daughter of Kael (formerly Kajin, the only blood Akili and the last full Ukani) and Dr. Araya N’Shoba. She is the only half-Ukani in existence — a fact she has no clue about until Act 2 of The Trenches when she discovers her father’s true origins in the Red Sanctum archives. Once awakened, her latent Nu’at potential makes her one of the strongest figures of the Trenches era. Her parents were bonded partners but never legally married — Araya was a UCC defector, Kael had no documented existence; their bond was sealed in resonance, not state. Born in the shadow of rebellion, she was raised within the Red Sanctum, surrounded by science, secrets, and war. After her mother’s death and the destruction of the Sanctum during The Raids, she was found crying alone—Kael the only soul left standing. He raised her in silence, teaching her survival, discipline, and how to rebuild in the ruins. Now one of the sharpest tech minds in The Trenches, Mirah is responsible for maintaining KC’s chassis, upgrading Shad’s Maine gloves, and building her own Maine-powered sniper pistols.
